The property
In Font-Romeu, a family-friendly and lively ski resort at an elevation of 1,800 meters, this new chalet on the edge of the forest is ideal for a rejuvenating vacation with family or friends. Very bright thanks to its south-facing exposure, it is fully equipped to accommodate 6 people.
On-site, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen (range hood, induction cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee maker + Senseo, toaster, raclette machine, fondue set, waffle maker, etc.).
Cathedral-style living room with a wood-burning stove (wood provided) offering a magnificent view of the forest and mountains, a flat-screen smart TV and soundbar, access to a fenced-in garden and a terrace overlooking the forest and Cambre d’Aze (you may spot does and roe deer in the evening), bedroom with a 160-cm bed, bathroom with shower and washing machine, separate toilet.
Upstairs: 2 bedrooms (one with a 160-cm bed and the other with 2 single beds), a bathroom with a tub, separate toilet.
Hiking trails start right from the chalet.
You’re a 10-minute walk from downtown, where you’ll find restaurants, bars, boutiques, grocery stores, a movie theater, a casino, and a tourist office with plenty of activity ideas (the “Museum Without Walls,” toboggan run, solar oven, caves, Lac des Bouillouses, Les Angles Wildlife Park, Odeillo Hot Springs, swimming pool, ice rink...).
A ski shuttle to take you directly to the slopes is 100 meters from the chalet; it’s a 7-minute drive if you prefer to take the car.
