The property
Located at the gateway to the Beaufortain, in a peaceful village, our new, fully independent mountain gîte is equipped like a real family home. The interior spaces are carefully decorated with beautiful solid wood furniture. The terrace and the two airy balconies, facing south, offer an exceptional view of the church tower and the Mont Mirantin. Summer :The village of Queige has the advantage of being at the crossroads of many paths. NATURE AND DISCOVERY ARE ON THE AGENDA FOR THE SUMMER! For the runners, the departure of the Ultra Tour du Beaufortain (UTB) starts here! Other activities are waiting for you in the area: hiking in the Beaufortain mountains, mountain biking, Via-ferrata and hiking around the Roselend dam, paragliding, summer tobogganing in Les Saisies, visit of the cheese cooperative, swimming pool and tennis in Beaufort, accro-branches and horse riding in Villard sur Doron. If you want to enjoy the beach, go to Annecy. If you wish to visit cultural sites, the medieval city of Conflans will charm you, as will the abbey of Tamié. If it rains, you can always go down to the cinema or go bowling in Albertville, the Olympic city.Winter :In Queige, you are not limited to one resort, FOUR complementary ski areas are waiting for you: Bisanne 1500 (20min) Arêches-Beaufort (25min), Les Saisies (30min) and Les Contamines (35min) ! You have the choice to change ski area depending on the snow conditions! Our ski resorts, less than 35 minutes away by car, have the HUGE ADVANTAGE of offering an EXCEPTIONAL VIEW on the roof of the world, the famous MONT BLANC MASSIF!
