Bayard - Gap

Gap, located in the Hautes-Alpes, is not only the highest prefecture in France, but also the largest city in the Southern Alps. Its strategic geographical location gives it the advantage of being at the heart
of three great European regions: Rhone-Alps, Northern Italy and the Mediterranean coast.
Just ten minutes from Gap, at the 1,246 metre Col Bayard, is the sports resort of Gap-Bayard.
In the winter, the resort becomes the most popular cross-country ski centre of the Southern Alps with more than 50 kilometres of remarkably well-maintained trails, on a perfectly streamlined Nordic ski course.
In the summer, it becomes an 18 hole golf course, unanimously appreciated by the specialists, who take over when winter activities end. The course combines the quality greens and fairways with the spectacularly beautiful mountain setting.
On the site, the "Centre d'Oxygenation" organizes seminars, nature classes in the summer, ski courses in the winter and numerous sports camps.
