In Ubaye, on nearly 80 kilometers of the western point to the point is, respectively spread the fortresses of Vauban, the Haxo General, Séré de Rivières and finally those of the Maginot line. This long history of the construction strengthened in Ubaye is also that of France, committed since centuries in the travel of the shield and the sword.
