Picherande

Picherande situated on the South side of Massif du Sancy, Picherande and its calm, restful and 100% nature. For Cross-country skiing 2 sectors on its territory : Picherande Village sector will enable the beginners to make their first step right in the Bois de Gayme where magic of the places keeps on the evening (track lit up until 23h00 during school holidays) and Picherande Charreire sector, also in a wooded setting, is opened to the other sectors of the Nordic Sancy Area and makes the junction between the South and the West sides.
Picherande is ideal for nordic pleasures :
* For mushers, Picherande is the ideal place. In a calm and nature setting, they will be able to practise their passion without constraint, and it is the same for lovers of nature.
* Walks : The way-marked hiking footpaths of Picherande allow to do short walks around the town : Lac Chauvet, Lac de Gayme
*Free snowshoeing hikes
* Sleigh dogs. Picherande is also the place of an international sleigh dogs race during Winter.
