Perched at an altitude of 1,300 meters, the Chalet, a fully-renovated former alpine farmhouse dating from 1840, nestles in the heart of alpine pastures and forest, offering a haven of peace where calm, beauty and freedom reign.
This rare setting offers a beautiful view of the Étale summit, where silence mingles with the majesty of the surrounding mountains. Lovers of nature and wide-open spaces will find it an ideal playground.

Just a five-minute drive away, the Col des Aravis and Plan Rebord reveal an exceptional panorama of the Aravis massif, inviting you to marvel.

A fully renovated former alpine farmhouse, this chalet has preserved the charm of the farmhouses of yesteryear while offering modern comforts. Authentic materials such as stone and old wood create an elegant simplicity and warm atmosphere. Self-catering in this refuge invites you to experience sobriety, in perfect harmony with nature, conducive to discreet observation of the local fauna.

Situated close to the famous Col des Aravis, an emblematic stage of the Tour de France, the chalet is accessible by a carriage road: in summer by car with a 4x4, and in winter by snowshoes (15-minute walk).

Antoine and Stéphanie will give you a warm welcome. A shuttle can be organized from the parking lot for your arrival and departure with your luggage.

#1. THE CHALET
Located in the middle of the forest, the chalet offers a serene atmosphere, ideal for relaxing in complete privacy. There's nothing to disturb your peace and quiet.

The first floor is a vast living space featuring an open-plan kitchen, a dining room with a large convivial solid wood table, a spacious living room and a high-performance Canadian stove. Also on the first floor are two bedrooms, each with its own shower cubicle and washbasin, and two separate WCs with washbasins. A beautiful wooden staircase leads upstairs to three bedrooms, each with a double bed.

Outside, you can enjoy the view from the deckchairs, and dine in the sun or shade, depending on the time of day.

#2. AROUND THE CHALET
More than 20 hiking and mountain biking trails are within easy reach of the chalet.

From the Col des Aravis, you can reach Plan Rebord on foot or by bike in an hour, with a moderately difficult walk. A restaurant with magnificent views can be reached after an hour's walk from the Col des Aravis. Numerous paragliding launch sites are also available for amateurs and beginners.

#3. ACCESS
The chalet is accessible via a 300 m hiking trail from the Route du Plan.

BY CAR
The path is passable in summer, recommended for high-sided vehicles or SUVs. A shuttle service can be organized from the parking lot for your arrival and departure with your luggage.

ON FOOT
Allow 15 minutes for walking (snowshoeing in winter).
