Accommodation, general description:
Come and enjoy this high standard apartment classified 4 stars of 70 m2, ski-in/ski-out, spacious, sleeps 4 (2 bedrooms, one with an office area, two bathrooms (bath/shower) with WC, and separate WC), equipped with a 17 m2 terrace to admire the mountains (very good exposure). You can relax in the residence's wellness area: a large indoor swimming pool heated all year round (with a hammam area, jacuzzi sauna). This apartment is ideal for long stays (the only apartment in the residence to have a private washing machine and dryer).
Ideal for families and couples looking for calm and the large number of activities in the Chamonix valley! Beautiful location in the residence (beautiful unobstructed view of the mountains).

The localisation :
A true haven of peace, Vallorcine is a small, authentic village (1300 meters above sea level), quiet, 15 km from Chamonix, surrounded by nature. The apartment is very well located in the 4-star tourist residence "Les Portes du Mont Blanc", 50 meters from the Balme gondola (ski on) and 100 meters from the train station to Chamonix (30 minutes - free with the guest cards provided). Many hiking departure points are at the foot of the residence.

Apartment classified 4****, warm and atypical:
High standing apartment classified 4 stars, independent of the tourist residence and therefore incomparable to the other apartments in the residence. The apartment offers a very beautiful open view (river side), optimal comfort (renewed bedding of very good quality equipped with mattress toppers for the large 160x200 beds). The decoration is extremely warm, new, stylish and neat. The equipment is superior (games for children, connected speaker, Nespresso coffee machine, a very well-equipped kitchen with plenty of crockery, etc.). You will benefit from lots of little details (hiking guides, board games, shower gel in the bathrooms, dishwashing liquid, dishwasher tablets, etc.). You will also have a complete welcome booklet (with our good addresses: restaurants and shelters).
The two twin beds in the 2nd bedroom can be equipped as a double bed on request. A baby cot is available free of charge on request (as well as a high chair)
Cleaning/service fees are included and include cleaning and linen (sheets, towels, bath mats, linens).
Free covered parking is available on site without reservation.
You also have a ski locker so you can go to the gondola on skis.

Ski areas in the Chamonix Mont Blanc valley:
The Balme ski area (Vallorcine/Le Tour at 2200 meters) are at the foot of the residence. The Poya area (second ski resort 5 minutes away) is ideal for beginners and families (very cheap packages). The Grands Montets area (2700 meters, in Argentières - 15 minutes by car) closes on May 1st, you can ski during the Easter holidays!

The Chamonix Mont Blanc valley, a paradise for hiking and trail running:
The Chamonix valley is the world capital of trail running and hiking (Ultra Trail du Mont Blanc, Chamonix marathon, etc.)!
500 km of trails for all levels (beginner to very technical). The list is long, I can give you advice based on your desires and levels. Many mountain refuges and restaurants offer beautiful objectives or nice stops. You will be able to see and approach ibexes in the Aiguilles Rouges reserve in Vallorcine (especially in May, June and September).
From mid-June to mid-September, the Vallorcine cable cars are open in pedestrian mode, to start hikes at around 2000 meters. Over a longer period, other cable cars in the Chamonix valley are also open in pedestrian mode for very beautiful hikes!
