This beautifully renovated 5 star chalet is ready to welcome you. The owners are also the owners of the popular Chalet Le Kitz, located next door. Larger groups of up to 25 people (maximum 22 adults) can book the two chalets together.
IMPORTANT: While the property sleeps a total of 16 people, please note that for legal security reasons we cannot accept groups of more than 15 people.
Located in Villards-sur-Thônes, just a few minutes from the main road between Thônes and St-Jean-de Sixt, the chalet is ideally situated for exploring the ski resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand, as well as the beautiful lake town of Annecy.
Chalet Le Buhel is a true haven of peace, with stunning views of Mont Lachat, Tournette and Le Lachat du Grand Bornand. The property has a beautiful sun terrace with jacuzzi, and is open to the meadows and forest. It is an ideal location for hiking and biking trips.
Although the garden is open, there is little or no traffic. Children can explore and play safely.
A private road leads to Chalet Le Buhel, which enjoys a very quiet location with breathtaking mountain views.
Entering the ground floor, you will find ski storage, a laundry room and stairs to the utility room. This floor also includes a spacious double bedroom with a bunk bed and en-suite bathroom. Stairs lead up to the main living area, which has an open plan design. The elegant fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to cook for 15 people, as well as a large table overlooking the terrace and the mountain. It's a great place to enjoy an aperitif at sunset, or a mulled wine while watching the shooting stars... The cosy sitting area also includes a television and a wood burning stove. This floor also offers a further double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and a separate toilet with washbasin. On the second floor you will find a space ideal for a family or children with a pool table and a large bedroom with en-suite bathroom, two twin beds and two bunk beds. This floor has three further double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, two of which open onto the sunny balcony. The mezzanine is specially designed for children, with a play area and a TV area.
This chalet's excellent use of space and spacious bedrooms make it a great option for large families. The children will love having their own space, but the large living area is ideal for relaxing or sharing a meal with the family.

The chalet's ideal location in Villards-sur-Thônes, between La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand, means you can discover new slopes every day. Your Aravis ski pass also includes the Manigod area, offering 220km of pistes at different levels and plenty of off-piste activities. Cross-country skiers can explore the slopes of St-Jean-de-Sixt, just a few minutes drive from the chalet.
Non-skiers will also find plenty to do, with a range of activities from ice skating, snowshoeing, sledging, dog sledding and sleigh rides, to the heated indoor and outdoor swimming pools of La Clusaz (open all year round).
At the end of the day, head back to Chalet Le Buhel for a comforting dinner before relaxing under the stars in the hot tub. Can you imagine a better holiday?

In application of the fire safety regulations, the property complies with the provisions of the modified decree of 31 January 1986 for residential buildings.
