What is included in the rental:
WIFI, linen (sheets, towels, tea towels, beds made on arrival), towels for the sauna, 4x4 courtesy vehicle, wood for the fireplace, water and electricity.

Please note that tourist tax is not included in the rates. The fuel consumption of the Can-Am, if used by vacationers, is calculated and invoiced at the end of the stay. No pets admitted.

Security deposits (pre-authorization of credit card not debited):
- Chalet: 2000€
- Can-Am courtesy: 1500€ (spring/summer/autumn period for use only on the way to the property); 2500€ in winter for use between the property and the ski lifts of Plan de La Giettaz)

DESCRIPTION OF THE CHALET

This former summer farm dating from 1828 has been completely renovated in a high-end spirit and furnished in a contemporary way.
The chalet is located in the hamlet of Plan de La Giettaz (where the ski resort of La Giettaz is located), facing the slopes and the start of the mountain pastures and hikes with breathtaking panoramas.

In contrast to the chalets of subdivisions and far from the national road that crosses La Giettaz, it enjoys a very quiet location, without any vis-à-vis or close neighborhood.

In the heart of a protected Biotope area, it is surrounded by wooded mountains and torrents, the surrounding fauna and flora are totally preserved.

The 1st level of Chalet Philomena offers 6 bedrooms, 3 of which are en suite:
- a master suite equipped with a bed 160 and a bathroom (shower + bath),
- a master suite equipped with a bed 140 and a bathroom (shower + bath),
- a double bedroom equipped with a bed 140 and a bathroom (shower),
- a double room equipped with a bed 140,
- a room equipped with two single beds 90 that can be joined,
- a room equipped with two bunk beds,
- a separate bathroom (shower + double sinks).

Baby equipment (baby folding bed, bathtub, changing mat, baby high chair etc.) Available free of charge on request.

The floor of the chalet is a large warm plateau of 120 m² which offers different spaces:
an open kitchen with a bar area,
a dining area with its large table for 12 seats,
a lounge area with reading corner,
A lounge area next to the open fireplace and many board games
a multimedia TV lounge (smart TV, DVD, PS4 and Wii).
a laundry room with freezer, wine cellar, washing machine, dryer, raclette and fondue machines, waffle iron.

A ski room on the ground floor equipped with a boot and glove heating system for 12 skiers as well as outdoor terraces with a barrel sauna, garden furniture and tables for outdoor lunch, an electric plancha (only in summer) complete the equipment of this magnificent chalet for 12 people (including 10 adults max).

Property accessible by any type of vehicle, located on a non-busy road because prohibited to traffic outside residents.
Snow tires or chains essential in winter, at least for the last kilometer before the property.
Parking at the bottom of the property (3 uncovered spaces), 4x4 function essential to park at the top of the property at the gates of the chalet.
Otherwise, possible loan of the Can-Am courtesy of the owners (6 places, chained in winter) to make the elevator between the bottom and the top of the property and in winter to access the P1 and P2 car parks of the Plan (car parks of the ski lifts located 1.5km from the chalet).
