Up on the mountain...
What sets the Beaufortain apart from its neighboring valleys is the richness of its hamlets and a fierce determination to preserve its typical mountain architecture against the easy temptation to give in to the large-scale tourist infrastructures that denature certain regions. The jewel in the crown of this architectural art are the hundreds of chalets that nestle into the slope like a mountaineer clinging to a rock, testifying to man's ingenuity in adapting to his environment.
Facing the mountain, Marie's chalet has been renovated in a warm mountain style.
Surrounded by meadows and forests. Large balcony, enclosed grounds planted with trees. The chalet is very comfortable, well-equipped, with spacious rooms.
- For added comfort, we've installed a heat pump. For tenants who like to make a fire and heat their home with a wood-burning stove, wood is provided free of charge.
