Welcome to Le Mélézingue,


This modern, eco-designed positive-energy chalet (it produces more energy than it consumes!) of over 220 m2 located in Briançon, on the heights of Fortville, will be the ideal accommodation for a family vacation.

Designed by an architect for our family in 2011, it harmoniously combines concrete, wood and zinc, while benefiting from an exceptional geographical location. Facing due south, its many bay windows flood the living space with sunlight, overlooking the snow-covered peaks. The quality of its interior fittings and the excellence of its construction will enable you to spend unforgettable moments in a magical setting.

With a capacity of up to 16 guests, it comprises a large living/dining room/kitchen of over 80 m2, 5 double bedrooms, a large modular bedroom for up to 6 guests, 2 bathrooms and 2 WCs, and a large mezzanine.
You'll enjoy all the amenities of a top-of-the-range chalet: underfloor heating, panoramic terrace with breathtaking views of the Melezin, large fireplace, heated ramp from the road to the chalet to prevent snow from accumulating, geothermal-connected boiler, wifi, ski boot rack at the entrance, ski locker in the garage, private parking for 4 vehicles.

Ideally located, 800m from Briançon's 1st shops, 5 minutes by car from the Serre Chevalier ski lifts. You'll also be able to enjoy Briançon, a town with a rich heritage, with its Vauban citadel, its covered market (halles) hosting 2 markets a week, including the Italian market on Wednesday mornings, the many small food shops in the Ste Catherine district, 2 cinemas, a swimming pool and an ice rink. You're also just a few kilometers from the Italian border.

Interior layout
On the ground floor, shared moments:
- an 80m² living room with fully-equipped kitchen, dining table, lounge and fireplace.
The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee maker, dishwasher, 2 raclette machines, a fondue machine, and numerous kitchen accessories. And a 6-person breakfast table before a sporting day completes the picture!
In the dining room, you can also share your meals on a large modular table seating 14, with a panoramic view of the Melezin.
The living room is a cosy place where you can enjoy the warm sound of its large "Focus" fireplace.
- A bedroom with a 140cm double bed and 2 closets.
- A bathroom with a large shower and double washbasin.

- an entrance hall for storing jackets, boots and ski boots.

On the lower level, the sleeping area:
- three bedrooms opening onto the lower terrace, each with a 140cm double bed, closet, washbasin and French window overlooking the garden and mountains.
- a large bedroom with 2 bunk beds and a sofa bed.
- bathroom with bathtub and separate shower area.
- a WC
- laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

On the upper level, take a step up:
- a mezzanine with TV area
- bedroom with 2 single beds that can be made into 1 double bed

The cleaning fee includes sheets and towels. Beds will be made up. The kitchen must be left clean, sink and worktop emptied, dishwasher emptied and dishes put away. Garbage cans (household waste, glass bottles and recyclable packaging) must be deposited in the public bins (located 30 meters from the house gate).
