The Pléiades cottage welcomes you in the historic village of Les Angles, a few minutes walk from the ski lifts and hiking trails. In your private garden, you will have a front row seat to admire from the terrace the breathtaking view of the lake of Matemale and the Pyrenees mountain range. Renovated and decorated with taste, this cottage retains the rustic charm of the original building and offers all the comfort for a perfect stay. Perched on the edge of the village, the property dominates the Capcir valley and allows, on summer nights, to observe with the naked eye or binoculars, the magnificent celestial vault which gave its name to the rue des Astres, where the old farmhouse is located. In the living room, astronomy books will help you to recognize the main constellations.
THE ACCOMMODATION HAS A PRIVATE PARKING SPACE AND :
- in the basement, a toilet, a ski and bike room and a laundry room with washing machine and dryer and a large refrigerator with freezer
- on the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen-dining room with dishwasher, gas stove, oven, pantry, raclette and fondue service and a nice living room and office space with flat screen TV and free Netflix. High chair for babies available on request.
- on the 1st floor, two bedrooms with double bed (one 160cm wide) and private shower-WC, possibility to add a BABY BED on request
- on the second floor, a large room with a double bed and a sofa that can be transformed into two trundle beds, a room with a desk and two single beds and a shower room with WC. Both rooms have an air conditioning fan. Possibility on request to add a BABY BED
- a fenced garden which offers an ideal play area for children
- a private furnished terrace with lake and mountain views
- a secure courtyard shared by the 3 adjoining apartments of the farmhouse, with BBQ.
IDEALLY LOCATED :
You will stay in the heart of Les Angles, at the end of the impasse des Astres: calm guaranteed! This old village has a crazy charm! You can walk around and discover its nine flowered fountains, its pretty stone buildings, its old fort and its adorable little church. The restaurant La Grange, 2 steps away from the house, offers a large choice of delicious pancakes and copious local specialties. Next door, you can also enjoy traditional cuisine at Le Coq D'Or. If you leave the old village, 3mn on foot, you will find many other restaurants, bars and shops in the resort. We particularly recommend the Capcir bakery and the Nicolas butcher shop. Several mini-markets and the local market allow you to complete your shopping. The tourist office offers many activities during the season and the bowling-bar-tapas Chez Bibiche as well as the spa Angléo are open all year round. Summer and winter alike, activities abound: hiking, swimming, sailing, paddle, pedal boats, horseback riding, balneotherapy, mountain biking, skateboarding, tree climbing, fishing, animal park, bowling, rock climbing, mini-golf, thrill sledding, skiing, surfing, snowshoeing, dog sledding... you won't be bored!
