About Chalet Bonnevie

The owners of Chalet Bonnevie took great care in choosing the perfect location for their chalet in the heart of the French Alps. They immediately fell in love with this beautiful traditional property in Les Villards-sur-Thônes.

A major renovation has brought the chalet up to date with four star comfort. This typical Alpine house is now very cosy and warm. A sauna has been installed next to the ski room, the wood stove has been replaced by a superb Savoyard fireplace and the kitchen has been completely redone. The icing on the cake: a 9m x 3.5m swimming pool surrounded by an exotic wood deck has been created, available from June to September every year.

Chalet Bonnevie is ideal for two families or a group of friends sharing a mountain holiday. It can accommodate eight people in its four bedrooms.

On the ground floor, you will find a double bedroom with its own bathroom, a sauna, a laundry room and finally, the living room. The living room consists of a lounge and a dining area with a large table. In the evening, you will enjoy sitting on the sofa by the fire. The chalet is equipped with internet access and Wi-Fi, so you can keep in touch with friends and family and find out more about the La Clusaz area.

There are three further bedrooms on the first floor. This level consists of one bedroom with a double bed and two further bedrooms, also for two people. The beds in the latter can be arranged as twin beds or double beds. There is also a large family bathroom with shower and bath.

In the summer you will love to enjoy the lovely garden, have lunch on the large sun terrace, take a dip in the pool or relax in the jacuzzi.

The Bonnevie chalet has a secure storage room with plenty of space for your ski equipment and bikes.

From the terrace you can enjoy the beautiful views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. Chalet Bonnevie is located 3 km from the village of Les Villards-sur-Thônes, so you will also enjoy its quiet environment. You will easily reach La Clusaz and Le Grand-Bornand as you will be half way between these two resorts. So, you will enjoy in any season the activities and the landscapes of the region.

The chalet is ideally located between the resorts of La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand ski. The Aravis ski pass gives you access to 220 km of pistes for all levels, from beginners' runs to great off-piste areas for the more adventurous.

Non-skiers can enjoy the ice rink, cinema and heated outdoor swimming pool at La Clusaz, not to mention the sledging, snowshoeing and romantic sleigh rides available in the area.

Back at the chalet, you can relax in the jacuzzi with a drink in hand and your head in the stars: the best way to end the day.

In the summer, you will appreciate the quiet garden, the jacuzzi and the large sunny terrace where you can relax! For an adrenaline rush, head to St-Jean-de-Six, the only place in the world where you can try the Bun-J ride, a mix between ski jumping and bungee jumping! Other more traditional activities are of course within reach: hiking on the mountainside, mountain biking, horseback riding in the middle of nature...

You will find swimming pools in Le Grand Bornand, La Clusaz and Thônes, you can try your hand at climbing, thrill along the impressive via ferrata, share the thrill with your family in the adventure parks, or practice canyoning, rafting and paragliding only a few kilometres from the chalet. Not forgetting Annecy and its lake 30 minutes away, a must-see excursion in any season.

The owners are great cycling enthusiasts. Holidaymakers will appreciate the secure storage room for their sporting equipment, with a toolbox and bike rack available. The tourist office provides a comprehensive map of cycling/ mountain bike routes.
