Based in the Hautes Alpes region, we love our mountains and have 10 chalets for rent in Vars and Montgenèvre, accommodating from 12 to 24 people. In this listing, we present our Le Soleil chalet (360 m² for 22 people, west-facing), located right on the ski slopes.
Open all year round, we rent this chalet by the weekend or by the week. Weekly rentals only from late December to late March, and from early July to late August.
We are a human-sized team, very available to our guests to help you make the most of your stay. We can put you in touch with service providers to take care of your meals, or approved instructors for your sports outings, all year round whether the resort is open or closed.
Welcome to Chalet Le Soleil, the best-located chalet in the Montgenèvre resort. You can ski in and out of the chalet. Just 50m from the Chalmettes telemix, you're also 300m from ski schools, shops and restaurants. You can park your car in the chalet's private parking lot and leave it untouched throughout your stay.
Chalet le Soleil is clad in stone and old wood, making it a unique place designed to give you an unforgettable time in an exceptional setting. Every room has been designed with your comfort in mind (spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and WCs, a range of wellness facilities).
The chalet is spread over 4 levels. You enter the chalet at R1, where you'll find a ski room for taking off your shoes and storing your ski equipment, as well as a large 80 m² living room with bay windows overlooking the slopes and mountains. In the same space, the open-plan kitchen, bordered by an old wooden bar, opens onto the dining room and living room. Also on this floor is a 40m² master suite with a private hammam room.
Go upstairs and on R2 you'll find 2 bedrooms (the dormitory with 6 beds and its independent bathroom with sauna, shower and whirlpool bath, and a suite that opens onto the ski slopes) and the games room with pool table, table soccer and games console.
Climb the wooden staircase again and on R3 you'll find 2 double bedrooms, again with en-suite bathrooms.
On the chalet's first floor, you'll find 3 more double bedrooms, including a suite with a sleeping area for children. Access to the solarium is via this floor, where you'll find the swim spa for ultimate relaxation: the jetted pool, heated to 31°, and the 4-seater Jacuzzi heated to 37°!
This chalet is located on the snow front in the Montgenèvre resort. Founded in 1907, Montgenèvre is France's first ski resort, located close to the Franco-Italian border at an altitude of 1860 meters. Part of the Franco-Italian Voie Lactée ski area, which includes Clavières, San Sicario, Césane, Sestrières and Sauze d'Oulx (400 km of pistes and 91 lifts), the Montgenèvre ski area comprises 100 km of pistes and 37 lifts.
The resort is 20 km from the Oulx TGV station (Italy), 100 km from Turin airport and 10 km from Briançon.
In winter and summer, the resort's shuttles run regularly to take you to the start of your outings.

In winter and summer, the chalet is available for rental from Sunday to Sunday. Weekend rentals are also available, depending on the season. We accept dogs, but cannot accept cats.
We also rent 3 other chalets for 16 to 18 people in Montgenèvre, and 6 chalets for 12 to 24 people in the resort of Vars. Don't hesitate to ask for information for your group!
